With the audacity of a renegade, and the resource-fullness of a pioneer,
catching glass work is like being surrounded by a fantastic sea of color.
Mary is essentially self taught and has been a practicing artist since 1976.
While living in Rhode Island, she was inspired by the traditional stained
glass found in New England towns. Moving to CA, in the 70’s, she began
learning the techniques needed to create a successful glass piece. In 1980,
she moved to Gig Harbor, WA and began doing antique restoration and
over-sized glass installations.
For the past 20 years, she has been an important contributor to the Arts
Community. Mary established the Gig Harbor Arts Festival and continues to
support local artists and art events.
